RTC Boulder Highway Express Bus Routes


Officials from Clark County, Henderson, Las Vegas, Nevada and the Regional Transportation Commission held a ribbon cutting event for the new Boulder Highway and Henderson Express Bus Routes at the Henderson Convention Center on Thursday, September 1st at 10:30 am.  Speakers for the event included Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen, Clark County Commissioners Larry Brown and Steve Ross, Rep. Shelly Berkley, D-Nev., and RTC General Manager Jacob Snow.  The ribbon cutting event included marching bands from Basic and Foothills High Schools.

The Boulder Highway Express bus will travel from the Bonneville Transit Center in Downtown Las Vegas, along the Boulder Highway with minimal stops, turns right at Sunset Road to Sunset Station.

The Henderson Express bus will travel through Downtown Las Vegas and Symphony Park, southeast along Boulder Highway to Water Street and Nevada State College in Downtown Henderson.

This $40 million project included upgrades to the Boulder Highway, new bus stations and buses, and  separate bus lanes on the Boulder Highway to accommodate the buses along the route.

The new bus routes start September 18th, 2011.
